Everyone is so friendly and you make the best friends. Oakwood Hall houses only upperclass students. Having said that Oak House is in the heart of student land Fallowfield, so its only a 2 minute walk to various other bars, pubs and restaurants. Our accommodation is set across three main areas, all within easy reach of the campus, the city and amenities. Very spacious double bedrooms, no single room Central Heating, double glazing, security alarm Included in your licence fee is a silver gym membership at the Armitage Sports Centre for semester one. -buses to uni are very regular Its right in the centre of the accommodation campus and right next to the university bar which means theres always something to do. There's always something happening. Then theres the cleaning service, the food its all amazing. I bumped into my flatmates all the time which made us much better friends. You're unlikely to have it next year, so why pay loads more for it in first year? The rooms of the halls were the worst part. I would say that it is better to just have your meals cooked in catered because you wont know if you're put in with people who wont do things the way you'd likeat least next year you get to choose who you live with so you'll know whether someone is extremely messy,annoyingly pedantic about mess or inbetween and judge what type of person youd personally want to live with.
